Cradle Mountain sits on an alpine plateau. The nuggety vegetation, able to withstand long seasons of snow, sits bare in a brief summer. A hand hewn boardwalk leads visitors along the bridal path toward the mountain and the wilderness trail beyond.
Part of artist-in-residence program at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston, Tasmania (1996, 1998) and exhibited in resulting solo exhibition,Fragility & Endurance, at the Gallery in December 2000 — February 2001.
